Cracking home invasion sleazathon from Aussie horror auteur Terry Bourke. Husky, bearded gardener (Chard Hayward) obsesses about a young and beautiful songbird and one day decides that fucking a plastic facsimile isn’t enough and decides to introduce himself to the snarky diva. Needless to say his lurid advances are wholly rebuffed, so beardy sweat-lord goes monkey ape-shit on her shapely ass! (While this is a sterling of sweaty Ozploitation it is only let down by the lack of genuine madness by Hayward, Spinell woulda’ nailed it!)

More Ninja cut N’ paste lunacy from Godfrey Ho, starring Ho regular Stuart Smith and the delicious-sounding Kent Poon! Godfrey Ho / Joseph Lai “films” definitely fall into the love ‘am or hate ‘em category, I myself have always found them to be wildly amusing! It’s interesting to note that ALL the Caucasian actors hired for these gonzoid, opportunist works have absolutely no visible acting prowess or discernible charisma, which is why I find them so addictive; and it must be noted that Stuart Smith is unequivocally the ultimate no-talent performer and his understated martial arts technique is truly something to behold!
Damiano Damiani is one of Italian cinema’s best kept secrets who has a string of intelligent, stylish political thrillers to his name, a tasteful, hugely talented filmmaker who is in dire need of a retrospective. The exemplary cast also includes gialli & euro-cult alumi: Claudio Cassinelli, Adolfo Celi, Lisa Harrow and Francisco Rabal.
